By now, most churches have a website. The barriers to building a site have fallen so that anyone with a little time on their hands can build one. But should they? I just want to take a minute and say thanks for visiting the new MinistryWarehouse.com! Our goal is to help churches (like yours) improve their outreach and communication. When I was the Director of Communications for a large church, I was always in search of places where I could share ideas, learn new things, and meet others who did what I did, which was to come up with new ideas on a daily basis, 52 weeks a year. I was unable to find such a place and so I started MinistryWarehouse.com. It's a warehouse full of ideas to help the church.

There are a growing number of designers using GIMP as their primary photo/design application.

So, it's good to know what other people in the proverbial trenches (or tubes) think of other applications that may make our lives easier.

This tutorial was made in Photoshop CS3, but the process is basically the same with any version from Photoshop 7 onward.
