What are some of the most creative and effective outreach ideas you've seen or used? I'll start it off:

We organized neighborhood block parties for our church members to get to know their neighbors. We provided yard signs, invitations, activity ideas, etc. We didn't encourage our congregation to talk about the church or even invite people to church. We simply wanted to help create an environment for our congregation to get to know their neighbors.

We did however put at the bottom of all of the signs, invites, etc, our church logo, web address and information.

This was a very cool way to say to the community that we are fun-loving people, just like them, and that we were willing to step outside of the walls of the church to meet them where they are.
